“Resident Evil: Deἀth Island” Poster Unites Fan Favorites to Fight the Infected

Resident Evil: Deth Island has all the big names from the other Resident Evil movies. Resident Evil Central shared a new Japanese poster on Twitter that shows Leon S. Kennedy, Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, Claire Redfield, and Rebecca Chambers getting ready to fight whatever evils are on Alcatraz, the “deth island” from the series name.

The poster also said when the movie would come out. It said that it would be out on July 7 in Japan. Leon and Chris both have their own missions in Resident Evil: Deth Island, which brings them together at Alcatraz. Leon is hot on the trail of the people who took Dr. Antonio Taylor hostage, but a mysterious woman gets in his way and stops him.

Chris, on the other hand, is stuck in San Francisco dealing with an outbreak. He has no idea what caused the infection, so the only thing he can do is go to Alcatraz Island, which is the only place where all of the victims have been.

Do you know that Warzone 2 Season 3 will begin in just a few days and that the next major content update will bring back some of the most-requested modes, weaponry, and features from prior games in the series:

As the last teaser showed, there are plenty of scary things there, like zombies, underwater lickers, and even a lake monster that looks like the famous Del Lago from Resident Evil 4. If the poster is any indication, though, it looks like he’ll have the best men and women for the job by his side.

On the poster, all five of the franchise’s main characters are standing over the looming island. This is the first time that all five of them will officially be on the screen at the same time.

Even though Jill and Leon are two of the most well-known characters in the Resident Evil series, they have never worked together in the games. Just that fact is enough to get longtime fans of the franchise excited about seeing the two finally meet in this universe.

Who Is Responsible for Resident Evil’s Deth Island?

Resident Evil: Deth Island is directed by Eiichir Hasumi, who is best known for Assassination Classroom. Makoto Fukami, who is best known for Berserk, is in charge of making the movie. This will be the fourth animated movie in the series. Degeneration, Damnation, and Vendetta all follow the same timeline as the games, but they were not all as good as this one.

The new movie could ride the franchise’s current wave of success, especially since the much-anticipated remake of Resident Evil 4 is getting great reviews. Outside of the games, Resident Evil has had a hard time finding its place on screen lately. The much-criticized Netflix show only lasted one season, and Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City didn’t live up to expectations.

When it comes out in Japan on July 7, Resident Evil: Deth Island hopes to go against the grain and become a fan favorite. The movie has not yet been set for release in other countries.
