In less than a month, Keanu Reeves will return as the hitman in John Wick 4 (officially titled John Wick: Chapter 4). It was confirmed in February 2023 that the fourth installment of the successful action franchise runs for 169 minutes.
That’s 30 minutes longer than any previous outing—two hours and 49 minutes. Initially, we believed that John Wick 4 and 5 would be released back-to-back, meaning there would be two more films in the series.
That is no longer the case, and Reeves has stated that the success of Chapter 4 will determine whether we get a fifth film. Don’t miss John Wick: Chapter 4 if you want to see even more of the deadly hitman with a weakness for dogs. Here is all the information you require regarding John Wick’s upcoming comeback.
When Is John Wick’s Chapter 4 Release Date?
The fourth film was supposed to come out on May 21, 2021. However, it was postponed to May 27, 2022, and then again to its current release date of March 24. We hope it means there won’t be any additional delays, given that the release date is only a few weeks away.
The fourth movie was filmed from June to October 2021, and a wrapped gift made it look like the subtitle would be Hagakure, a reference to a Japanese text from the 1700s. However, the movie doesn’t have a subtitle.
As previously mentioned, the fourth and fifth movies were supposed to shoot concurrently. However, the original plan had to be altered due to delays in the fourth movie’s production.
Although John Wick 5 has not yet been confirmed, it may do so if the fourth film performs well during its opening weekend.

John Wick 4 Cast: Who’s back for John Wick Chapter 4?
Naturally, Keanu Reeves is back as John Wick because, without him, a John Wick movie would be like a Mission: Impossible movie without Tom Cruise.
Laurence Fishburne will reprise his role as the Bowery King, Lance Reddick will reprise his role as the Continental Hotel concierge Charon, and Ian McShane will reprise his role as the Continental Hotel owner Winston, who may or may not have attempted to kill John after the third film.
It’s unclear whether Halle Berry’s Sofia has since atoned for the marker with Wick and has her hotel to run, or Jason Mantzoukas, who played the Tick Tock Man, one of the Bowery King’s assassins, will return in the new film.
We anticipate seeing the High Table again, which could bring back Sad Taghmaoui as the Elder, Asia Kate Dillon as the Adjudicator, and Anjelica Huston as the Director, one of the High Table members.
However, none of them have been verified as of yet. We wouldn’t be surprised to see a crossover in the fourth movie since Huston is reprising her role as the Director in the spin-off film Ballerina, which also stars McShane as Winston and Reddick as Charon.
Bill Skarsgrd, Donnie Yen, Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamier Anderson, Clancy Brown, Rina Sawayama, and Scott Adkins are just a few newcomers in the fourth film.
Skarsgrd, who portrays the Marquis de Gramont in the new film, is thought to be its main antagonist. He said, “The Marquis is a young man of unidentified origin who has swiftly ascended the ladder within the High Table doing god knows what.
“I’ve always thought of him as coming out of the gutter and enjoying the sparkly suits he’s wearing today. He serves as the new sheriff, on a mission to finally get rid of John Wick from the world.”
Brown has hinted that his character might have been connected to the High Table in the past. “I’ll say that more of the Table is now apparent. More about the High Table is revealed, revealing the complexity of that power structure, “He clarified.
“I also appear in a few scenes that could be categorized as action scenes. It was a lot of fun to work with Bill Skarsgrd in many of my scenes.”
