It has been recently reported by the sources that the rescue operation of saving the 41 workers has stopped. This operation has stopped because the rescuers who are trying to reach the trapped workers inside the collapsed tunnel have faced a problem. The drilling has gone stopped on 24th November 2023, Friday once again. This happened after the boring machine hit the new metal obstruction in the rock debris. The rescue team has drilled through 46 meters which is 151 feet and they need to excavate up to 12 meters which is 40 feet more to create a passageway.

Sources have reported that the government of Uttarkashi is sending hot meals by the 6-inch pipe to the 41 workers who have been trapped. Alongside meals, oxygen is also being supplied to the workers by another pipe. In those 41 trapped workers, most of the workers are migrant laborers from the entire country. A lot of families have arrived at the scene which is at Siklyara tunnel. One of the people from the rescue team has recently claimed that the manual drilling is going to start since Auger gets removed from the pipeline.

25th Nove, ber 2023, Saturday is the 14th day of this accident. Workers have been trapped inside the collapsed tunnel for sine last 14 days. Experts team who have conducted the survey a the Silkyara tunnel where 41 workers are trapped, has informed that there are no heavy objects which is up to 5 meters in the rescue tunnel. On the other hand, Parsan Overseas Private Limited Delhi has officially used the ground penetrating radar technique from which they are analyzing the rescue tunnel right now. Ground Penetrating Radar is a non-destructive technique to make a cross-section profile of the subsurface and the best thing is that from this technique there is no need to drill and trench.
