According to the officials, the rescue operation has been started regarding the workers who are trapped under an Uttarkashi tunnel. They got trapped after the tunnel collapsed. It has been reported a total of 40 workers have been trapped under the collapsed tunnel. The operations to save the life of the workers is continuing after the under-construction tunnel between Dandalgaon and Silkyara on the Brahmakhal-Yamunotri national highway collapsed. This collision incident occurred in the early morning of 12th November 202. This incident happened on 12th November and today is 19th November and till now the worker has not been rescued.
Currently, the reducing team is trying to insert the 6-inch diameter pipe instead of the 4-inch diameter high inch by which the supply of food and supplements are being given to the workers who are trapped under the tunnel. Many family members of the workers are praying in the temple right now. Officials started to prepare to drill a vertical hole yesterday. Bhaskar Kulbe who is the former advisor to the PM and now OSD in the Uttrakand Govemrent has said that in Silkayra converted efforts are going to produce great results in up to five days. Khukbe ha also said that teams have been deployed at the Silkyara tunnel which is required to coordinate the action for the reduced operation that is going on.
