Suspect arrested in 1996 Tupac Shakur shooting death murder case after 27 years

What Happened To Tupac Shakur?

Tupac Shakur, a renowned name in the hip-hop rap music world, was killed in 1996. Reportedly, the rapper was killed after a fight with a member of a gang inside the MSG Grand Garden Arena. Furthermore, Orlando Anderson who is the nephew of Duane Keith “Keffe D” Davis was beaten by Tupac Shakur’s security on the night of September 7, 1996, after which Duane Keith “Keffe D” Davis hatched a conspiracy to avenge the beating of his nephew. He conspired a drive-by shooting to avenge.

During the investigation, police recovered a video that showed some people kicking and punching Orlando Anderson near a bank of elevators. One of the attackers was identified as Marion Suge Knight who is the co-founder and then-CEO of Death Row Records based in Los Angeles, which signed Tupac Shakur. This incident eventually turned into a retaliatory shooting death of the rapper. Investigators also recovered a gun from an unnamed accomplice. Duane Keith “Keffe D” Davis, Orlando Anderson, and other two men were arrested in connection with the murder of the rapper.

The other two suspects are Deandre Smith and Terrence Brown, who were inside the Cadillac car that rode off to locate the BMW that Marion Knight was driving with Shakur sitting in the passenger seat. Myriad gunshots were fired at BMW from the Cadillac. Reportedly, in the drive-by shooting incident, rapper Tupac Shakur sustained six bullet injuries. He fought for his life for six days in a hospital but later handed off his life. He was just 25 years old at the time of his death.
