Recent reports have suggested that Prabhas’s Salaar is going to be released on Christmas 2023. For the unversed, King Khan already had locked the date of Christmas 2023 for his upcoming film with director Raj Kumar Hirani. Now it’s Dunki vs Salaar which earlier was Jawaan vs Salaar. However, the makers of Salaar postponed the film and avoided the clash with Atlee’s Jawan. But this time Hombale Films are looking forward to a clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki. If it happens it would be one of the biggest clashes in the history of the Indian Film Industry because both films are highly anticipated.
Will Salaar Clash With Dunki?
Shah Rukh Khan already had announced the release date of his film Dunki directed by Raj Kumar Hirani but recently trade analyst Taran Aadarsh revealed that some trade experts and distributors received emails from Hombale Films about the release date of Salaar. Hombale Films asked the distributors to gear up for the release of Salaar as it is going to be released on December 22, 2023, which was earlier locked by Shah Rukh Khan for Dunki. Would Shah Rukh Khan clash with Prabhas?
However, it is not the first time that Hombale Films has clashed with Shah Rukh Khan’s film. Earlier, Hombale Films gave a challenge to Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero directed by Anand L Rai with KGF Part 1 in 2018. Now Hombale Films is coming with the most anticipated PAN India film Salaar on the same date as Shah Rukh Khan’s much-awaited film with Raj Kumar Hirani titled Dunki. This update from the showbiz industry has led to a huge war of words between SRK and Prabhas fans on the internet. While Prabhas fans are of the opinion that Salaar will beat SRK’s Dunki by a huge margin, SRK fans believe that Raj Kumar Hirani will shatter all records at the box office.
Not only Prabhas’s Salaar and SRK’s Dunki are going to be released this Christmas but some other Telugu biggies are also eyeing the Christmas 2023 release date. Rumors are that Venkatsh’s Saindhav, Nithin’s Extra Ordinary Man, Sudheer Babu’s Harom Hara, and Nani’s Hi Nanna are also set to be released on December 22, 2023. But their plans can be changed anytime as there are high chance that Salaar will eat every film’s collection clashing with it.
