Realme GT 5’s teaser hints at Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, launch

The Realme GT 5 has been generating a lot of excitement in the tech community, and the latest teaser from the company’s President, Xu Qi, has added fuel to the fire. Xu Qi took to Weibo to share an intriguing update about the upcoming flagship device. He released a poster posing a thought-provoking question, “Why haven’t any of the over 30 second-generation Snapdragon 8 flagship models truly reached the pinnacle of performance?” This teaser has left enthusiasts eagerly awaiting the release of the Realme GT 5, which is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

According to the data, the GT 5 will boast the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, along with an impressive 24GB of RAM. What’s more, the device is reported to feature super-fast 240W charging, ensuring that users can quickly power up their devices and stay connected. Additionally, the GT 5 is said to sport a 1.5K resolution display (OLED) with support for high-frequency dimming, providing users with a visually immersive experience.

Further details about the Realme GT 5 reveal an array of impressive features. The device is expected to boast a large 6.74-inch OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a buttery smooth 144Hz refresh rate. For stunning selfies, the GT 5 will come equipped with a 16-megapixel front camera. On the rear, users can expect to find a powerful camera setup consisting of a primary 50-megapixel camera with OIS support (Sony IMX890), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
