Maratha community members will carry out a candle march on 28 March 2023 from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Statue located at Shivajinagar to the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Statue at Deccan. They have begun a chain strike to support section activist Manoj Jarange Patil’s hunger march to strengthen the agitation over the Maratha uneasiness issue. Protestors from the Maratha community also stopped the Pune-Nashik highway near Chakan early morning today which also involved vehicular traffic.
