MGNREGA Protest: TMC Leaders Delhi-Bound Flight Canceled

Recently, it was officially announced that there is going to be an MGNREGA Protest. This protest is going to start on 2nd October 2023, Monday. And by looking at this the Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha MP Derek O’Brien claimed that he is going to join this protest. But now he has announced that he has announced that he won’t be able to join the MGNREGA Protest on the 2nd and 3rd of October. He announced this shocking news on 30th September 2023, Saturday. On Twitter (X), the TMC leader officially announced that the government has canceled the special train services from Kolkata to Delhi so that it can prevent those who are traveling to join the MGNREGA Protest which is going to occur from 2nd October 2023, Monday to 3rd October 2023, Tuesday. This protest is happening as they are asking for 10s of 1000s of crores which is owed to Bengal by the BJP Union government. And now the government has also canceled the flights so that people can’t be able to join this protest. Derek O’Brien said, Try as you might, they are going to take you on.

As the flights and trains have been canceled now it is stated that the Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha MP Derek O’Brien wants to be able to join the MGNREGA Protest. But he has claimed that he is not going to give up. He claimed that the flights had been canceled from Kolkata to Delhi after the trains had been canceled. First, the special train has been canceled and now the flights have also been canceled. All this is happening to stop him. But he said that Delhi belongs to him and the protest is definitely going to happen.

The people from Bengal are now traveling by bus to arrive in Delhi to join the MGNREGA Protest. This is going to take a lot of time but they are all ready and they are ready to fight. This protest is under the banner “Dilli Cholo”. People have claimed that this is a fight for their rights. They are raising their voice to the payments of the alleged arrears for 100 days of work in the MGNREGA scheme. The MGNREGA Protest is going to happen on 2nd October 2023 and 3rd October 2023. This protest is going to take place in Raj Ghat. This protest is going to happen against the central government for the delay in the release of the funds to West Bengal.
