The grand old Indian National Congress party held a meeting of its screening committee for Madhya Pradesh on 3 October to decide on nominees for forthcoming group elections that are due later this year. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has already put out two lists of candidates for the Madhya Pradesh polls.
