Layers of Fear – 11 Minutes Of Good Looking Horror

With Unreal Engine 5, Bloober Team is able to increase the intensity of the scares in Layers of Fear. Bloober Team has shown 11 minutes of new gameplay for Layers of Fear, its upcoming collection of the first two games in the series rebuilt with Unreal Engine 5.

This bundle includes all of the DLC. On the technical side, players can expect many improvements to graphics and sound, a new chapter in the story, and a more “immersive” horror experience.

One of the big improvements to the graphics is the use of Unreal Engine 5’s Lumen system, as well as ray tracing, high dynamic range (HDR), and a 4K resolution to make the game tenser overall.

Did you know that you can play the upcoming Diablo game in its beta form before its June release? But you can only play the beta on certain dates, and some people get to play it earlier:

New game mechanics, like a lantern that can be used to find scary things that go bump in the night, will also be added. Bloober plans to use three different stories about craft-obsessed main characters to explore the depths of obsession in a more cohesive way.

The new chapter of the story, called “The Final Note,” tells the story of “The Writer” for the first time. It also ties into the psychological horror stories of “The Painter” and “The Actor.”

The studio wants these remakes to be the best of the Layer of Fears games. It has called this project the “crowning work” of the series and a tribute to fans. In addition to better graphics, Layers of Fear has a new, creepy soundtrack made by Arek Reikowski, who worked with Bloober on The Medium.

Layers of Fear was announced at Summer Game Fest Live in 2022. It will come out in June 2023 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. It is being made by both Anshar Studios and Bloober Team.
