According to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, India is now all set to look at the information which is shared by the Canadian government which is regarding the allegations about the killing of a Khalistani terrorist. The name of the deceased Khalistani terrorist is Hardeep Singh Najjar. This statement was made by S Jaishankar on 29th September 2023, Friday. Sources say, that he was questioned if the issue of Canadian allegation was raised at the time of the meeting with the Secretary of the State Antony Blinken and NSA Jake Sullivan. He replied by saying that he had already answered it.

S Jaishankar also said that he has always said that if there is any formation please let them know. He wants to make one thing which is very clear. He also said that it is not that the door is closed to look at anything. All these statements have been given after the allegations which are made by Canada. The allegation claims that the Indian government has a big hand in the killing of the Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Till now Canada has not given any official evidence to support their allegation which they have made against the Indian government in the killing of Khalistani terrorists. By looking at this the Indian government has now suspended the visa services in Canada. On this S Jaishankar claimed that this has been done due to the continuous violence and threats that Indian diplomats are receiving. He further added that this is the responsibility of every community to look at the security of its embassy and those people who are working in the embassy. The Canadian government should take some action against those Canadian people who are sending threatening messages against India.
