In a gruesome turn of events, Adam Montgomery allegedly folded Harmony’s body into a duffel bag and kept her body in a restaurant freezer. Adam reportedly spent hours dismembering Harmony’s body so it could fit in a small bag. Kayla Montgomery said, “It was evil crazy eyes” and demeanor towards his young daughter. Why did Adam hit Harmony? Kayla testified that Adam hit his daughter for having a bathroom accident in the car. She could not stop him from assaulting her because the look he gave her was scary. Kayla testified “I was scared. He said, ‘I think I hurt her. I felt something.”
Kayla further revealed that the abuse had started early that morning when she and her estranged husband, Adam Montgomery, went to a methadone clinic and Burger King. Each time the car stopped at a traffic signal, Adam would go between the seats and punch Harmony in the head.“ Adam kept saying, ‘Shut the f*ck up. Stop crying,’”
As of now, Kayla is in jail for lying to the court about Harmony’s whereabouts when she was reported missing. Firstly, Kayla said Adam had dropped her off at her shift at Dunkin Donuts and taken his daughter to her mother’s home. On Friday, she admitted that she lied to the grand jury about Harmony’s whereabouts. “I was scared for myself and my children and for Adam, because I didn’t want anyone to get in trouble and I was scared,” Kayla testified.
