Jigna Vora is an ex- Indian Jounalist. She was born in 1974. She is mostly recognized for her biographical memoir, Behind Bars in Byculla: My Days in Prison, she wrote this on the days she spent in jail. A series named Scoop which was released in 2023 has been inspired by the biographical memoir of Jigna Vora. She completed her graduation from the DG Ruparel College, Mumbai from where she earned her Bachelor of Degree, then she completed her Diploma in Mass Communication from the K.J. Jigna Vora was once troubled by a big case that changed her life completely. Vora was falsely accused in the case of having a connection in the murder of journalist Jyotimoy Dey and she was booked under the MCOCA. Jyotirmoy was murdered on 11th June 2011. Vora was charged under MCOCA and 10 other people were also arrested. Those 10 people also include Chhota Rajan. At that time Vora worked as the deputy chief of bureau of the Mumbai Bureau of the Indian English Newspaper, The Asian Age. She was behind bars for a total of 7 years.
Recently, Jigna Vora was asked why she is entering in the house of Big Boss season 17 so she replied that her son has encouraged her to take this big step.
