The Palestinian militants from the Gaza Strip infiltrated southern Israel yesterday and started firing thousands of rockets into the country. This has prompted Israel to start a fight and now they there striking targets in Gaza in the way of their response. reports show that Palestinian militants fired more than 5,000 rockets from the Gaza Strip toward Israel. In this rocket attack, more than 250 people lost their lives and more than 1,500 people were wounded. More than a hundred Hamas militants have infiltrated Israel in the SUVs, paragliders, and motorcycles and they have opened fire at the civilians.

It has been said that fighters of Hamas took a lot of civilians and soldiers captive in Gaza. By looking at this the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu has said that the military is going to use their best strength to kill the Hamas. And he has also given a warning that this war is going to take time and it is going to be difficult. And in the opposite the leader of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh has stated that the assault which began in Gaza was a narrow strip that is home to almost 2.3 million Palestinians and it might get spread to the West Bank and Jerusalem Gazans.

Regarding this war, the President of the US Joe Biden has claimed rock-solid support for Israel and decried the terrorist attacks that are held by the Palestinian militant group Hamas. And India Representative office (IRO) to Palestine on 7th October 2023, Saturday has asked all the Indian nationals in Ramallah to immediately contact the office if they had an emergency the helpline number of the office is available 24 hours. Also, India has issued an advisory for its nationals in Israel and India has also asked them to keep vigilant and also reminded them to observe the safety protocols.
