Sam Bahadur movie is directed by the famous Indian film director Meghan Gulzar. Vicky Kaushal stated that the director of this movie, Meghna Gulzar first narrated the script of Sam Bahadur when they both were filming for their first collaboration movie “Raazi”. At that time Vicky searched for Sam Manekshwar because he always heard his stories from his mother but he never saw him. So after watching and learning about him, Vicky got excited and he accepted the script.
Vicky Kaushal claimed that the role of field Marshal Sam Manekshaw is the toughest character he has ever played in his career to date.
