Hogwarts Legacy Has Seen a Shift in Which Houses Are the Most Popular

Since Hogwarts Legacy came out two months ago, its statistics have changed a bit, with Ravenclaw passing Gryffindor to become the game’s second most popular house on Steam. In Hogwarts Legacy, players can choose between Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Statistics on achievements and trophies show that Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw are the most popular houses.

Shortly after Hogwarts Legacy came out, fans chose Slytherin as their favorite house, followed by Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff. Gryffindor and Slytherin are still pretty close together, Ravenclaw is still a long way behind in third place, and Hufflepuff is still by far the least popular house in Hogwarts Legacy. But the Steam achievements show something different.

Do you want to find out how to unlock and use Wingardium Leviosa in Hogwarts Legacy? When Hogwarts Legacy came out, everyone wanted to know all of its spells and secrets:

When it comes to Steam users, Slytherin is still the most popular house in Hogwarts Legacy. 27.6% of players have found the Map Chamber as a Slytherin student, which is an achievement. The Map Chamber achievement for Ravenclaw has been unlocked by 22.9% of players, which is enough to knock Gryffindor out of second place. Gryffindor has 21.3% of the votes, but Hufflepuff can only get 13.5%.

Most Favored Hogwarts Houses

  • Slytherin – 27.6%
  • Ravenclaw – 22.9%
  • Gryffindor – 21.3%
  • Hufflepuff – 13.5%

There’s no real reason why the Steam achievements are different from the data collected by PlayStation and Xbox, but the data could still change. In just one month, Hogwarts Legacy will be available on PS4 and Xbox One, giving millions more people the chance to start their Hogwarts adventure.

It will be interesting to see how people who played the game in the last generation change the stats, especially since those players might know more about the pros and cons of each house.

For example, everyone knows that Hufflepuff students in Hogwarts Legacy have a special quest that lets them go to Azkaban and see Dementors. Some new Hogwarts Legacy players may know this and choose Hufflepuff instead of another house when they make their character.

Others might not want to play as a Ravenclaw student because the house doesn’t have a character that acts as a companion like Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, and Slytherin do. However, this doesn’t really change how the game is played.

You can also play Hogwarts Legacy on the Nintendo Switch, but since it doesn’t have a dedicated achievement/trophy system, it will be harder to figure out which house is the most popular on Nintendo’s home console/handheld hybrid.

Hogwarts Legacy is now available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X. Versions for PS4 and Xbox One will be released on May 5, and a Switch version will be released on July 25.
