Gmail’s basic HTML view is going to be not funded and will be automatically returned with the Standard view after the specified deadlines. Gmail users got notifications about this change through email. In their message to users, Google said,” We have been writing to let you know that the Gmail Basic HTML view for desktop web and mobile is going to be disabled beginning early January 2024. The Gmail Basic HTML views have been the last performance of Gmail that was replaced by their modern heirs 10+ years ago and do not include full Gmail feature functionality. The HTML version of Gmail has been designed for ” slower links and legacy browsers, and it lacks mixed features present in the standard Gmail interface, such as chat,  keyboard shortcuts, spell check, search filters, and rich formatting. It has stayed useful for people in low connectivity areas or those who prefer a simpler email viewing experience. However, it remains doubtful whether Google plans to introduce an alternative mode for low connectivity situations.
