Who Was Confucius?

Confucius also known as Kong Fuzi. He was a Chinese philosopher of the Spring and Autumn period who is traditionally considered the paragon of the Chinese sages. In many regions, Confucius is known as the greatest teacher. His teaching and philosophy are acknowledged in East Asian culture and society, and it has also remained across China and East Asia. His philosophy teaching is used to known as Confucianism.

Confucius was in 551 BCE in ZOu, State of Lu (which is now known as Oufu, Shandong, China). He died in 479 BCE in Si River, Lu. he died at the age of 71. His rating place was Cemetry of Confusis, Lu. Till now many people from different regions in Asia believe in his philosophy. On every 28th September people celebrate Teachers Day to honor him. He was the teacher of many recognized people including Yan Hui and Zengzi. He is known as the greatest teacher.

Google Doodle Celebrate Teachers Day to Honour Confucius 2023

On 8th September 2023, Google celebrated the day with a doodle as a way of honoring the greatest teacher “Confucius”. The entire Taiwan is celebrating this day today. Google Doodle is only available to the people who live in Taiwan because of its limited reach. There is not any holiday on this day in Taiwan but this day is celebrated with students as they are offered gifts to their teacher as a token of appreciation. Teachers receive gifts from the students as they celebrate Teachers Day. Many children organise events for teachers and they also teach their teachers on this day.
