He has served as the US secretary of state and national security advisor under the presidential administrations of Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford. His full name was Henry Alfred Kissinger. He was born on 27th May 1923 in Furth, Weimar Republic which is now known as Germany. He was a Jewish refugee who fled Nazi Germany with his family in the year 1938. He completed his graduation of summa cum laude from Harvard College in 1950 where he studied under Willaim Yandell Elliott. Then he completed his degree in Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy at Harvard University in 1951 and 1954.
