Madhya Pradesh’s ruling party, BJP issued a list of public meetings that were held by senior leaders of the party in the past 30 days. The list features the name of PM Modi who held a total of 15 public meetings in the state ahead of the assembly elections while the chief minister of MP Shivraj Singh Chouhan held a total of 160 public meetings in the state in the wake of the polls scheduled on Friday, November 17, 2023. On the last day of the campaigning in Madhya Pradesh, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra took a dig at the Union minister and former Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia. She called Scindia a traitor while addressing a public meeting in the Datia Assembly for the congress candidate. In response to Priyanka Gandhi’s attack on Scindia, the Union minister responded through a tweet that reads, “Priyanka Gandhi ji is a part-time leader”, former Madhya Pradesh CM and state Congress president Kamal Nath says, “What Jyotiraditya Scindia used to say for Shivraj Singh and PM when he was in Congress, is not erased. Now, he is saying for Congress what he used to say for them.”

Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and state Congress president Kamal Nath said that he has complete faith in the people of the state. Nath said, “I have complete faith in the voters of Madhya Pradesh. After looking at the state where every category is troubled, they will side with the truth…All of us have made all the efforts. We did what we had to do, they [BJP] did what they had to do,”.
