CM Dhami reach Silkayara tunnel collapse site

A senior official stated that rescue operations have entered the final stages in Uttarkashi at the Silkyara tunnel. He further added that they would reach the 41 trapped workers inside the collapsed tunnel by Thursday morning. It has been more than 10 days since the 41 workers have been trapped inside the tunnel and under the debris after the under-construction tunnel collapsed on November 12.

The entrance of the collapsed tunnel got blocked due to debris falling on the Silkyara side in a 60-meter stretch. The Uttarkashi collapsed tunnel is from Silkyara to Barkot. A huge team of construction is at the collapsed tunnel performing tasks to reach the 41 trapped workers as soon as possible. However, the trapped 41 workers are being provided with the necessary items such as food, water, oxygen, devices to communicate, and more. The further update about the same may bring some good news. This is a developing story.
