Chrono Odyssey Release Date: PS5 and Xbox Series Officially Out or Not!

Below are the release dates for the PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S versions of Chrono Odyssey. Many players have taken notice of the new, impressive gameplay trailer showcased by developer Chrono Studio.

Some may have even considered it a continuation of the Chrono Cross or Trigger series. Despite the new trailer, the MMORPG has been under production and testing for quite some time.

When Will Chrono Odyssey Be Released?

Chrono Odyssey’s Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S releases remain mysteriously unannounced. But we estimate that it will be in the year 2024.

MMORPG claims that the initial release date for Chrono Odyssey was set for 2023, with testing beginning in 2021. Unfortunately, there is currently no release date for this new gameplay trailer. As a result, it appears that 2024 is the most prudent choice.

Chrono Odyssey Release Date

Since a massively multiplayer online role-playing game of this scope may require more than a couple of alpha or beta tests, its release date may be pushed back to 2025. Especially if Chrono Odyssey intends to support cross-platform play between PC and consoles, this would be done to ensure that the servers for a game of such vast scope and size will be ready for launch.

Since Unreal Engine 5 was used to create the open world of Setera in Chrono Odyssey, a substantial amount of PC testing will be required to ensure that a wide variety of computers can play the game smoothly at a high frame rate.

The world’s weather and environs change with the seasons, suggesting that many particle effects and graphical features will be designed to tax modern GPUs.
