It is announced because of the occasion of Eid-e-Milad as Anant Chaturdashi and Eid-e-Milad were on the same day 28th September 2023, Thursday. This holiday was officially announced by the Chief Minister’s office of Maharashtra. This was announced officially by CMO Maharashtra stated on Twitter (X) that the entire India Khilafat Committee has requested Chief Minister Eknath Shinde because of this.
