Annamalai as CM candidate

According to the source, the All India Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) has ended its alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) because of the saffron party insistence on the project as its state unit Cheif K Annamalai has stood up as the Cheif Minister candidate for the Assembly polls 2026, a senior leader of the Tamil Nadu erstwhile ruling party has said this officially on 30th September 2023, Saturday. Another reason AIADMK broking the alliance with BJP is they were insisting on accepting the Tamil Nadu BJP leader K Annamalai as the new chief candidate in the 2023 assembly election which AIADMK didn’t accept and they cut off with BJP.

The former minister KC Karuppannan claimed all these reasons at a party event in Erode. He also said that there is one more reason of AIADMK cut ties with the BJP. And that is because the Annamalai criticized the late AIADMK matriarch J Jayalalithaa. Some time ago K Annamalai criticised the late former CM Jayalalithaa. Karuppannan asked how they could tolerate all this criticism this was really a bad act by someone. Because of that AIADMK officially announced that now they are withdrawing from the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance.

Two more people from AIADMK, KP Munusamy claimed that now the part cheif Edappadi Palaniswami is going to lead a separate alliance of smaller state parties in the Lok Sabha election of 2024. And the leader of AIADMK has also denied a big report. The report claimed that the party leadership in a meeting with the president of BJP JP Nadda at the start of September called for the removal of Annamalai as the Unit chief of Tamil Nadu. It is not a joke to criticize the late former minister of AIADMK. The late former minister was such a well-respected person and AIADMk is not going to tolerate the criticism at all.
