The deceased led the family shipping company Foremost Group which was founded by her father. Angela Chao was a prominent personality in the US Shipping industry as she led her company for 6 years after taking over the company from her father James Chao in 2018. While addressing the death news of its owner, Foremost Group stated, “Angela Chao was a formidable executive and shipping industry leader, as well as a proud and loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife, and mother,”
