Squishmallows are a brand of very soft toys that come in different shapes, sizes, and materials. Soft toys are popular collectibles because there are so many different kinds. As of yesterday, Squishmallows teased the collaboration on Twitter. The full reveal will take place during San Diego Comic-Con, which runs from July 21 to 24. There have already been some images released by Pokémon global brand manager Aaron Margolin, who has hinted at multiple waves of the collaboration, starting with Pikachu and Gengar from generation one.

What are Squishmallows?

While it’s likely that all of us have at least heard of Pokemon – and some of us may even have been fans of the franchise ever since we got our hands on a GameBoy back in the 90s – if you’re unfamiliar with the term “Squishmallow,” don’t worry; we’ve got you covered.

Squishmallows are a type of squishy and soft plush that is known for being absolutely adorable creations of your favorite characters or original characters. Squishmallows can also be original characters. Kelly Toys Holdings LLC launched the brand for the first time in 2017; since then, they have produced more than one thousand characters in a range of sizes.

When will the Pokémon Squishmallows be Available for purchase?

There is not currently a confirmed release date for the Pokémon Squishmallows; however, according to Squish Alert, the Pokémon Squishmallows could be made available at any point during the second half of the year 2022, or even the year after that. On the bright side, these won’t be limited editions sold only at Comic-Con. It has been reported that they will be made available for purchase at various Target locations.

Where can I buy the Pokemon Squishmallows?

The Pokemon Squishmallows will make their debut at the Pokemon Center, and beginning in the fall of 2022, they are expected to be available for purchase online. Later on this year or early the following year, the collection will hopefully be available at stores like Target. There is no indication that this will be a limited edition product, and consequently, a wide distribution of it should be possible.

In case you’re curious about what all the hubbub is about, Squishmallows are comparable to Beanie Babies but do not contain as much lead. They are stuffed with polyester fiber that provides a cushiony feel and is made from stretchy spandex. They are available in a range of sizes, from tiny clip-on designs to large creations that resemble pillows.

The collaboration with Pokemon is one of the company’s most significant endeavors to date, and it demonstrates how popular the toys have become ever since their introduction in 2017. The moment we finally get our paws on a plump Pikachu cannot come soon enough.

Omg Since I first learned about squishes, I’ve been looking for Pokémon Squishmallow art, and I’m so happy that someone finally made some! They very well might be able to do so due to the fact that Jazwares, the parent company of Kellytoys, is already the master licensed seller of Pokémon toys. Therefore, they would unquestionably have the legal authority to bring Pokémon Squishies into the world!

Omg! Are you sure? In all honesty, I was trying to figure out who owned the plush rights for Pokémon. The most recent piece of information I came across was from 2017, and it stated that Wicked Cool Toys owned the rights. But if Jazwares really does own the rights, I have no doubt that poke/Squishmallows will be available very soon! It will be like money pouring

It appears that this is an unpopular opinion here for some reason, but we require more Squishmallows that are the result of brand collaborations. This would be amazing, but there are so many characters that could be turned into Squishmallows and the demand for them would be through the roof.
