  • Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag (PS4)
  • Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered (PS4)
  • Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry (PS4)
  • Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection (PS4)
  • Assassin’s Creed Unity (PS4)
  • Final Fantasy VII Remake (PS4)
  • Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade (PS5)
  • Ice Age: Scrat’s Nutty Adventure (PS4)

  • Marvel’s Avengers (PS5, PS4)
  • Paw Patrol on a Roll! (PS4)

  • Saints Row IV: Re-Elected (PS4)
  • Saints Row Gat out of Hell (PS4)
  • Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition (PS5)
  • Stray (PS5, PS4)

Stray, the first “day one” release for the new PS Plus service, is undoubtedly the most notable inclusion in this update. With many other blockbuster games surrounding it, it jumps right into PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium. Marvel’s Avengers, Final Fantasy VII Remake for PS4, and Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade for PS5 owners are noteworthy. Since its release, the superhero simulator has seen a number of character updates and fixes, but the campaign has remained strong and fun. That was emphasized in our reviews of Marvel’s Avengers for the PlayStation 4 and, later, the PlayStation 5.

PS Plus Premium: July 2022

  • LocoRoco Midnight Carnival (PSP)
  • No Heroes Allowed! (PSP)

We hope you appreciate the Assassin’s Creed series as well because a large number of them will be available on the service. These are the games from before the reboot of the series. Remastered versions of Assassin’s Creed II, Brotherhood, and Revelations are included in The Ezio Collection, plus you can also play other mainline games like Black Flag and spin-offs like Rogue. There will be a lot of Eagle Dives directed at you.

The kids will also be entertained with the Paw Patrol, Ice Age, and Jumanji games on PS Plus Extra. For them, ReadySetHeroes might also be worth a look.

The PSP is the focus of this month’s PS Plus Premium release as No Heroes Allowed! and LocoRoco Midnight Carnival join the service; the latter title was the subject of extensive rumors. We’ll have to wait until next month’s selection for another opportunity at PS1 and PS2 games, but it would have been lovely to acquire some of those. Following an error on the Italian-language PS Blog, it would seem that releases similar to Dino Crisis and others are at least in the works.
