For those who aren’t aware, OneXPlayer consoles are essentially portable Windows PCs that feature adequate hardware for playing video games. The new OneXPlayer design was recently teased in a promotional film. In a first for the company, removable controllers like those used on Nintendo systems would be made available.

The new console, like the newly released OneXPlayer small Pro, will use an AMD Ryzen 7 6800U processor, with an Intel 13th-Gen i7 processor option also available. The new console will include a massive 8.4-inch touchscreen display capable of rendering 2.6K visuals.

In addition to the 4096-level handwriting and two speakers certified by Harman, you’ll also find the unique orange ambient light of this series. Although there has been no word on when OneXPlayer 2 will be made available to the public, the worldwide search for participants in the limited beta has begun.

According to the OneXPlayer’s specifications, it will have a kickstand like the Nintendo Switch and a dock connector for a keyboard. On the back, you can find the volume buttons and the fingerprint scanner.

The input/output (I/O) on the top of the console should include a microphone/headphone jack, a microSD card slot, a USB 3.0 port, and a handful of USB-C connectors.

It’s evident from the teaser that the controller will be similar to the X-Box one, complete with shoulder and trigger buttons. As the release date of the console draws near, more information about it is likely to become available.
